BAKEWELL BOOK FAIR

On Saturday, 15th August we’ll be exhibiting at the Bakewell Book Fair being held at the Agricultural Business Centre, Haddon Road DE45 1AH.

Open from 10am till 4pm there will be around twenty dealers with antiquarian, collectable and secondhand books and ephemera.

Crime novelist Martin Edwards, President of the Detection Club and consultant to the British Library Crime Classics, will be attending the fair as a guest.

A large car park onsite, with cafés and shops nearby.

The pretty market town of Bakewell lies on the banks of the River Wye in the Derbyshire Dales and is widely known for its local dessert delicacy of the Bakewell pudding. The town is easily accessed via the A6, is within close distance of Buxton and Matlock, and only a short distance away are the splendors of Chatsworth House.

GARGRAVE BOOK FAIR

On Tuesday, 11th August we’ll be at the midweek Gargrave Book Fair being held in the Village Hall, West Street BD23 3RD.

Around seventeen dealers with a broad range of second-hand, antiquarian, out-of-print and collectable books and ephemera. Café serving excellent home-made food and parking nearby.

The pretty village of Gargrave is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, accessed by the A65 Kendal/Ilkley road and within easy reach of Skipton and Settle.

North West Book Fairs

INGLETON BOOK FAIR

On Sunday, 2nd August we’ll be exhibiting at the Ingleton Book Fair being held in the Ingleborough Community Centre, Ingleton LA6 3HG.

There will be around fourteen dealers with secondhand books on a wide variety of subjects including antiquarian and collectable, plus maps and ephemera. Café serving excellent home-made food.

A large pay-and-display car park adjacent.

Ingleton is located in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales on the A65 between Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale, and within easy reach of Lancaster via the A683 through Hornby.

Local attractions include the Ingleton Waterfalls, good walking around about Ingleborough and Gaping Gill, and a little further afield is the picturesque bleakness of Ribblehead Viaduct.

ILKLEY BOOK FAIR

On Friday, 24th and Saturday, 25th July we’ll be exhibiting at the Ilkley Book Fair being held at King’s Hall, Station Road, Ilkley LS29 8HB.

Around thirty booksellers exhibiting for sale antiquarian, collectable and secondhand books, maps and ephemera.

The beautiful spa town of Ilkley lies on the River Wharfe in Wharfedale and is easily accessed via the A65 with the towns of Skipton and Otley close by.

SEDBERGH BOOK FAIR

On Saturday, 18th July we’ll be exhibiting at the Sedbergh Book Fair being held at the People’s Hall, Howgill Lane LA10 5DQ.

Around twelve dealers with a good range of secondhand, antiquarian and collectable books and ephemera. Café serving home-made refreshments.

The Hall has a small free car park, however if full then nearby pay and display car parks can be found in Joss Lane behind the Sedbergh Information Centre and at Loftus Hill near St. Andrew’s Church.

Sedbergh, the Cumbrian market town in the Yorkshire Dales, is England’s Book Town and many of the local shops have some book shelves to browse including Howgills Bookshop at the Information Centre where we have several shelves of books.
