MANCHESTER BOOK FAIR

On Sunday, 27th April 2025 we will be at the Manchester Book Fair being held at The Monastery, Gorton Lane, Manchester M12 5WF.

After the inaugural event in 2019 and with two years hiatus due to covid restrictions, the book fair has become an established event in the magnificent setting of the Great Nave at The Monastery.

With around twenty dealers exhibiting for sale a wide range of secondhand, antiquarian and collectable books and ephemera there is sure to be much of interest to new and regular visitors.

There is a café serving light refreshments and a large car park onsite.

The Monastery in the Manchester suburb of West Gorton is easily reached via Hyde Road (A57) off Junction 24 of the M60 motorway.

North West Book Fairs

LONGRIDGE BOOK FAIR

On Saturday, 19th April we’ll be at the Longridge Book Fair being held at the Civic Hall, Calder Avenue PR3 3HJ.

This book fair is traditionally held at Easter and is the longest established event on the North West Book Fairs calendar having run for nigh on forty years.

Around fourteen dealers offering for sale a good mixture of secondhand, antiquarian and collectable books and ephemera. Café and a large free car park.

Longridge is situated in the Ribble Valley close to Grimsargh and Ribchester, within easy reach of Preston and the M6 motorway, and just a short distance from Clitheroe via the B6243. Nearby attractions include Beacon Fell Country Park near Bleasdale, the Bowland Wild Boar Park near Chipping, and the beautiful scenery of the Forest of Bowland.

CLAPHAM BOOK FAIR

On Sunday, 13th April we’ll be at the Clapham Book Fair being held at the Village Hall, Cross Haw Lane LA2 8DZ.

Around eight dealers with a good range of second-hand books, maps and ephemera. Café serving excellent home-made food and parking nearby.

The pretty village of Clapham is located just off the A65 between Settle and Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales, with the attractions of Ingleborough and Gaping Gill close by.

North West Book Fairs

HARROGATE BOOK FAIR

On Friday, 21st and Saturday, 22nd March we’ll be at the Harrogate Book Fair being held at the Old Swan Hotel HG1 2SR.

A new venue for the fair this year, the Old Swan Hotel has a literary connection with it being where Agatha Christie was found staying after her mysterious disappearance in 1926.

There will be around sixty-five booksellers exhibiting for sale antiquarian, collectable and secondhand books, maps and ephemera.

GARGRAVE BOOK FAIR

On Saturday, 1st March 2025 the GARGRAVE BOOK FAIR is being held at the Village Hall, West Street BD23 3RD.

Around eighteen dealers with a broad range of second-hand, antiquarian, out-of-print and collectable books and ephemera. Café serving excellent home-made food and parking nearby.

The pretty village of Gargrave is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, accessed by the A65 Kendal/Ilkley road and within easy reach of Skipton and Settle.

BARTON BOOK FAIR

On Saturday, 18th January 2025 the Barton Book Fair is being held at Barton Village Hall, Garstang Road PR3 5AA.

Around eighteen dealers with a good range of secondhand, antiquarian and collectable books and ephemera. Café and a large free car park.

Barton is situated on the A6 just a short distance from Preston and Junction 32 of the M6 motorway, providing easy access to Garstang, Lancaster and the Fylde coast towns of Lytham, St. Annes and Blackpool. Local attractions include the popular Barton Grange Garden Centre at Brock and the Beacon Fell Country Park near Goosnargh.
