HORNBY BOOK FAIR

On Saturday, 5th October 2024 the HORNBY BOOK FAIR is being held at The Institute, Main Street, Hornby LA2 8JR.

Open from 10am till 4pm there will be around thirteen dealers offering second-hand, antiquarian and collectable books and ephemera. There is a café serving excellent home-made food and nearby car parking.

The village of Hornby, with the River Wenning running through and overlooked by the picturesque Hornby Castle, is situated on the A683 road and within easy distance of Lancaster, Kirkby Lonsdale and Ingleton.

KENDAL BOOK FAIR

On Saturday, 7th September there is the KENDAL BOOK FAIR being held for the third year at Stricklandgate House, 92 Stricklandgate Kendal LA9 4PU.

Around eight dealers with a good range of secondhand, collectable and antiquarian books and ephemera. Also there will be a selection of classical music CDs.

No café at this event however there are numerous eateries and shops nearby for refreshment. There are several pay-and-display car parks throughout the town.

Stricklandgate House is on the main shopping street, adjacent to the Library and opposite the Post Office and McDonald’s, with the Westmorland Shopping Centre close by.

SETTLE BOOK FAIR

On Bank Holiday Monday, 26th August 2024 the SETTLE BOOK FAIR is being held at Victoria Hall, Kirkgate BD24 9DZ.

Around twelve dealers selling a wide range of secondhand and collectable books & ephemera. Café serving excellent home-made food and car parking nearby.

The market town of Settle is situated in the Yorkshire Dales, accessed by the A65 Kendal/Ilkley road and within easy reach of Skipton and Ingleton.

BAKEWELL BOOK FAIR

On Saturday, 10th August 2024 we’ll be exhibiting at the Bakewell Book Fair being held at the Agricultural Business Centre, Haddon Road DE45 1AH.

Open from 10am till 4pm there will be around twenty-seven dealers with antiquarian, collectable and secondhand books and ephemera.

A large car park onsite, with cafés and shops nearby.

The pretty market town of Bakewell lies on the banks of the River Wye in the Derbyshire Dales and is widely known for its local dessert delicacy of the Bakewell pudding. The town is easily accessed via the A6, is within close distance of Buxton and Matlock, and only a short distance away are the splendors of Chatsworth House.
